About Lawn Solutions LLC

Lawn Solutions was founded by Doug Schott and Chris Charnesky in 2017 with one goal: to provide lawn care backed by real knowledge, hands-on experience, and a genuine commitment to doing things the right way.

Doug has been working in the lawn care industry since 2006. Throughout his career, he has worked in all aspects of the industry, from working hands-on as a lawn care technician all the way up to management. With nearly two decades of field experience, Doug has become a highly knowledgeable expert in weed identification and control, turf-damaging insects, and lawn diseases and fungus. His ability to accurately diagnose these problems and understand what is causing them is a major part of the expertise behind Lawn Solutions.

Chris Charnesky has been involved in turf management for nearly his entire life. He began cutting grass at a young age, turning that early passion into a way to help put himself through college. Chris attended Rutgers University, where he earned a degree focused on Landscape Design and Turf Management. His combination of formal education and a lifetime of hands-on experience has given him extensive knowledge of turf management, proper mowing practices, landscape design, plant identification and plant health, and overall property care. Chris has developed extensive knowledge of plants and their specific needs, giving him a strong understanding of how turf and plants work together to create a healthy, well-maintained property.

Together, Doug and Chris created Lawn Solutions to offer customers something different: a lawn care company built on experience, education, and a deeper understanding of turf management.
